How does the swopper work?
The active swopper swivel chair consists of a cast-iron foot ring, a spring strut with adjustable steel spring and a convex-shaped, padded seat. Height, spring hardness and sideways movement are individually adjustable. The sprung seat with all round movement responds to each movement you make. This minimally, but extremely effectively stimulates the numerous groups of muscles in your back, abdomen and legs.
Active means healthy
The beautiful thing about it: active muscles cannot tense up; they are strengthened and remain fit. The same applies to the intervertebral discs which are constantly loaded differently by the numerous involuntary changes of position. For sustained elasticity and flexibility. The swopper activates your entire body and therefore ensures better transport of blood to the heart. This stimulates your circulation, encourages you to sit upright, breathe deeper and thus increase the supply of oxygen to the blood. Seat covers
Choose from a wide selection of high-quality, easy-to-clean seat cover fabrics: branded microfibre fabrics in many attractive colours, fine PREMIUM leather, hard-wearing Softex or the special Stamskin/CARE fabric. There is also an additional seat shape available: the slightly moulded saddle, very sporty and ergonomic by nature.
Height adjustment
You can adjust the swopper quickly and continuously to meet your individual requirements: seat height from 45 cm to 60 cm (loaded) and for the WORK swopper from 42 cm to 57 cm. Simply lift the lever under the seat and lighten the load on the seat - ideal for all sizes and table heights.
Sideways movement
You decide how much you want to move. The sideways movement is decisive for training the back muscles. You adjust this with the handwheel under the spring strut. We recommend setting it a little firmer at first, then later as flexible as possible. The essential criterion: your personal well-being.
Spring
The free-moving spiral spring made of high-quality steel enables the actual swopping - the up-and-down movement when sitting that is unique in the world. You can set the spring hardness individually according to your weight. In most cases the spring colour matches the seat. The spring is available in two strengths.
